You can commence the Mount Rigi South Side Safari at any point along the route, whether you are in Vitznau, Gersau or already on Mount Rigi.
The family-friendly hike from Rigi Scheidegg to Rigi Kaltbad (or vice versa), the various modes of transport, the range of activities along the way such as the children's play areas and firepits, and the magnificent mountain views make the Mount Rigi South Side Safari a very special day trip.

Take motorway exit A4 Küssnacht and drive via Weggis to Vitznau or Gersau.Parking
At the stations of the Rigi cable cars as well as at the valley station of the cable car Obergschwend-Rigi Burggeist there are parking spaces available for a fee.However, we recommend public transport instead of cars: lean back, enjoy and do something good for the environment.
