Der Glattalpsee liegt im Zipfel des Kantones Schwyz der Gemeinde Muotathal. Auf der Glattalp auf einer Höhe von 1852 Meter über Meer liegt der Bergsee, oberhalb der Ortschaft Bisisthal.
Den Glattalpsee erreicht man zu Fuss vo Sahli Muotathal oder mit der Glattalpbahn. Von der Bergstation führt ein zehn Minuten Fussweg bis zum Seeli. Die Glattalp zählt zu einer der kältesten Gegend der Schweiz.
Public transport
Mit dem Zug bis Schwyz Bahnhof, dann mit dem Bus Richtung Muotathal (Buslinie 1). Bushaltestelle: "Muotathal Post". Weitern Bus Richtung Sahli. Mit der Glattalpbahn hoch auf die Glattalp.
Getting there
Ab der Autobahnausfahrt Schwyz der Beschilderung Stoos/Muotathal folgen. An der Stoosbahn vorbei fahren ins Muotathal.
Dann durchs Dorf Muotathal fahren und der Beschilderung Glattalpbahn ins Sahli.
