Start your excursion with a gondola ride from Rickenbach to the Rotenflue. Once you arrive at the mountain station, hike along a well-maintained hiking trail - always with a unique view of the Schwyz, Uri and Muotatal Alps as well as Lake Lucerne - to the Ibergeregg pass and on to the St. Karl mountain station above Illgau. Finally, enjoy the cable car once more to the idyllic mountain village of Illgau and finally to Ried-Muotathal. Return to the starting point in Schwyz or Rickenbach by bus operated by Auto AG Schwyz.

Located in the middle of central Switzerland, directly on the north-south axis, the Mythen region can be reached quickly from all directions, both by car and by train. From Zurich in approx. 45 minutes and from Lucerne or Zug in only 30 minutes.By road
Take the A4 motorway to the Seewen/Schwyz exit. From there you can get to Rickenbach via Schwyz to the valley station of the Rotenfluebahn or to Ibergeregg.From Zurich, you can reach the Mythen region via the A3 motorway to the Einsiedeln exit. From Einsiedeln, continue to Brunni-Alpthal.
Parking
