Distance 9.2 km
The starting point is the lower terminus of the Sattel-Hochstuckli revolving-gondola cableway. After the ascent, you begin the three-hour hike in the midst of some fantastic scenery. Although the route is some 10 kilometres long, it's highly suitable for children. While the Mostelberg scores with its toboggan run, suspension bridge and bouncy castle, the restaurant Gipfelstubli on the Rotenflue has a new playground - perfect for the kids before the gondola takes you back down to the valley.
