Fronalpstock
Snowshoeing
· Switzerland
Beautiful snowshoe trail with a beautiful view along the Fronalpstock to the finish at the summit. After the ascent you can enjoy a well deserved break in the summit restaurant.
difficult
Distance 3.1 km
The start at about 1300 m above sea level leads you after a slight ascent to the intermediate station of the chairlift Fronalpstock. From there, the trail continues along the toboggan run with panoramic high points. In clear weather you can see the Schwyz basin and Lake Lucerne. Arrived on the Fronalpstock, which lies at 1922 m above sea level, you can treat yourself to a meal in the summit restaurant. From the summit itself, mine has a breathtaking view of the heart of Central Switzerland and up to 10 lakes. If you don't want to walk down, take the chairlift down one or both sections. If you plan to do so from the very beginning, check with the Stoos lifts for the right combination ticket.
