The half hour walk leads from the back part of the village Muotathal along the Muota and some springs to the Husky Lodge. About 30 sled dogs live there and can be visited. With its forests and few houses, the landscape is reminiscent of Canada.

We start at the bus stop "Hintere Brücke" in Muotathal. The trail runs mainly on a dam south along the Muota. Depending on the season, it is accompanied by gargling and the sound of the torrent as the snow melts. On the way you pass a quarry where marble was mined in the 70s and 80s of the last century. The snowshoe hikers, who want to get to the Fugglen, run over the flat pastures on the right hand side. The path is not signposted. After a visit to the Huskies or a refreshment in the restaurant of the Husky Lodge, you return to the village on the same path.
